Besides campsites, there are numerous holiday homes available for rental, such as bungalows in holiday parks with beautiful views over the water, or houseboats hidden away in natural surroundings. Other options include hotels, huts and small B&Bs.
If you’re looking for something really special, romantic and unforgettable, you can even camp on a sloop! You can have fun out on the water in the daytime, then in the evening sail to a spot in the middle of nature and spend the night there. Enjoy the sunset together with a bottle of good wine, and play games by candlelight.
Mooring in De Alde Feanen National Park is only permitted in places clearly indicated for the purpose. There is no charge, and you can moor for up to three nights at the same place.
