Slowing down in National Park The Alde Feanen

A mindfulness walk in De Alde Feanen National Park is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with both your inner world and the nature around you. This unique nature reserve offers an oasis of peace and space, where you can withdraw from the hustle and bustle of daily life and be fully present in the moment with the new Mindfulness Route. Starting in May, you can experience the walking route by It Fryske Gea through the It Wikelsân area in a different way. With a special mindfulness booklet in hand, you not only enjoy the beautiful nature, but also become more aware of the here and now.

Breathe in the tranquility: the importance of slowing down

Mindfulness is all about experiencing the present moment, and this walk invites you to slow your breathing, open your senses, and focus your attention completely on the now. The sound of gently rustling reed plumes, the smell of wet earth and grass, the refreshing breeze on your skin—these are all sensory experiences that help calm your thoughts and soothe your mind.
