Discover De Alde Feanen by canoe or kayak, together on a pedal boat, or balancing on a SUP board? Fun is guaranteed. The great thing about these activities is that you don’t need any experience to get started. After the first slightly uncertain metres, you’ll soon glide across the water as if you’ve always done it.
In De Alde Feanen, beautiful routes have been mapped out that you can explore by canoe or stand-up paddleboard. With a canoe or SUP board you can reach places that are inaccessible to other types of boats, allowing you to discover some of the most beautiful spots in this unique National Park.
Additional routes are available at the Visitor Centre in Earnewâld, and can also be found on the website earnewald-routes.nl. On this site you will find, among other things, a beautiful SUP route. Canoe and paddleboard rental providers often also provide great route suggestions. It is also possible to head out with a guide — very useful if you would like to learn more about the area and are not particularly confident with reading maps.
